Who we are
Search Console for iPhone ("the app") is published by Paul Fraser, trading as P4UL (p4ul.dev), based in Scotland, United Kingdom. These terms apply to your use of the app and this website. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Not affiliated with Google
The app is an independent client for Google Search Console. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Google. Google, Google Search Console, Chrome and PageSpeed Insights are trademarks of Google LLC. Your use of Google's services through the app is also subject to Google's Terms of Service.
Licence
Subject to these terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. The app is licensed, not sold. Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these terms, these terms take precedence to the extent permitted.
Your Google account
You must connect only Google accounts you are authorised to use, and only view Search Console properties you are entitled to access. You are responsible for keeping your device and account secure. The app requests read-only access and cannot change your Search Console settings. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Free and Pro
The app is free to use with recent data across every site on your account. Pro unlocks longer history (up to the 16 months Google retains) and other features described in the app. Pro is available as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-off lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
Subscriptions, renewals and cancellation
Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings; cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. Pro Lifetime is a single payment with no renewal. Refund requests are handled by Apple under App Store policies, and the app has no ability to issue refunds directly.
Demo mode and data accuracy
Demo mode shows fictional sample data for an invented website and must not be relied on. Live figures are supplied by Google's APIs and are shown as received; Google may delay, revise or withdraw data, and Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed results vary from run to run. The app does not guarantee that any figure is complete, current or accurate, and it is not a substitute for Google Search Console itself.
Acceptable use
You must not: use the app in breach of Google's terms or API policies; attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or extract the app's source code except where the law allows; interfere with the app's operation or security; use the app for anything unlawful; or resell or redistribute the app or access to it.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features of the app at any time, including when Google changes or withdraws an API the app depends on. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the app working but do not promise uninterrupted availability. If a paid feature is permanently withdrawn, we will tell you through the app or the App Store.
Intellectual property
The app, this website and their design, code and content belong to Paul Fraser and are protected by copyright and other laws. Your Search Console data remains yours; we claim no rights over it.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, traffic or data, or for decisions you make based on information shown in the app. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by disconnecting your Google account and deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, including disclaimers and limitation of liability, continue after termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting your right as a consumer to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published at this address with the date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
